OcUK HQ Motors Meet Take 4 - Cars, Computers & More - Saturday 25th May 2024

I think go the other way and get it as filthy as possible. I'll try to wash mine but it doesn't look much better clean than dirty haha.

My friend Dave will probably come, he's got an E90 M3. I've sent him the link the form / thread. My other friend Richard will come too, he'll either bring a "clubsport" spec E36 328i or a Liquid Yellow Clio 182.

Do you service your car yourself?

Very much depends if I can be bothered or not. Serviced my saab myself yesterday but last oil change of the mini got a garage to do it (although I was having a sump fitted so was a cheat). Also would never go by condition based on a bmw, thats what leads to engine failures, timing chains etc on...

May have bitten off more than I can chew...MR2 Winter project

You won't do any damage if you time it wrong. It's a non interference engine so even if the belt snaps it won't damage anything.

May have bitten off more than I can chew...MR2 Winter project

Had one of these as my first car. Absolutely brilliant motors, your car as has been said previously is a Rev 5. The Turbo engine lid is actually fibreglass and looks a lot better than the NA one. Glad to see you've ditched the scoops. That 3SGE is bomb proff and as long as you look after it will...

    Star Trek Bridge Crew

Nice one! I was considering getting this but didn't fancy spending £40 on it. £16 is well cheap, can't wait to try it haha

What have you done to your car today?

Since it's going for it's engine rebuild on friday I emptied all the stuff out of it as I've been using the Mini as a shed for the last 6 months haha.

    Who here owns a Mini?

Just over £3500. Having a GP1 diff fitted and my coilovers setup at the same time.

    Who here owns a Mini?

I blew my JCW (Well Cooper S) up too! Mine is an N18 car albeit an early one. No compression on cylinder 4. It's going into Lohen on Friday for a forged build.

MX5 Owners in here....bring your curling tongs

Just thought I should probably do the clutch on the 5' if I'm going to be running it for a while. The bite point is literally the moment you press the pedal and it slips if you try to pull away quickly haha.
