One week since sky switched off and still nothing from sky. Got the return box now and I’m just going to send it back. I’m not missing having sky and can get everything I want else where for a fraction off the cost with a bit more faff.
Scottish power are really pushing me to get a smart meter. Emails, letters, texts and now actually knocking. They have said they have to install it and seem amazed when I say no.
Obviously they don’t have a clue my economy 7 meter gives me night rate all weekend from Friday evening to Monday...
Tell me about it, I told her 6 months ago they was out of contract but she just keep saying she will call tomorrow. In the end I just did it myself, definitely could have got it better then the deal I got but I would have had to cancel and they would then call her which she couldn’t be bothered...
Her last bill before the new discounts was £183.49 and due to go to £191 from April with the increase.
Breakdown
Signature £32.50

Obviously outside contract so all full price, was...
She basically had everything including £11 for Disney. All out off contract so broadband was £54 on its own. They offered £131 which my sister said was fine and she’s not someone to bother with the cancel negotiations so was the best I could get.
Sky cancelled yesterday without any contact from sky, its still working so will enjoy a free day before they finally kill it. Currently on live chat sorting out my sisters sky, her bill us due to go upto £191 next month. Will see what they off but don't expect it to be good so will probably just...
We’ll finally have an excuse for getting the new usb-c pros and ditching lighting for good. Lost my right pro somewhere in my flat, last seen 28/1 at 2am. Obviously ran out of battery so can’t play the sound, will probably wait till they drop to £200 again and pick some up.
Nope nothing to except a text at the start. I’ll just let it cancel, I’m not that bothered about keeping it now and they would need to match close the £40 I currently pay for me to keep it.
My cancellation goes through in 4 days and I’ve had 1 text from sky. I’ve not tried to contact them and unless they call me I’m just going to go without sky. Last time I left for 6 months before they offered a decent deal so might just do that again.
Was on the monthly plan so cancelled and signed up for a year at the old price. The price jump is a joke but I’m limited to what I can get but will look at other options next year.
They didn’t really try 2 years ago when I left for 6 months. What I have is worth £40, everything except kids and muti room. If that do it for £45 I’ll stay otherwise I’ll leave again.
Current deals end 1st March and due to go from £40 to £90+. Called and the bloke just admitted he wont be able to match my current win back deal, offered £70 but even he said he knew I wouldn't take it. I just cancelled and will wait for retentions to contact me. I won't miss sky tbh so they...
Sky sent the email about price increases from the 25th March. Sky TV by £2, Sports by £2, HD by £1 and Ultimate by £1. My current deal ends on the 1 March so bills going from £40 to £100, they will have to get it below £50 for me to consider signing up again. Will probably have to leave again...
When I moved my home insurance to them they dropped my car insurance by about 40%. It’s creeped back up now and the new renewal is more expensive then comparison sites.
Car insurance in Dec 2021 was
£253, Dec 22 was £381 and Dec 23 they want £653. Cheapest I’ve found is £530 ish.
Traded in my old 12 to MusicMagpie using their smart kiosks inside Asda. 1st time no technician was available, was 7pm on Friday night so understandable I guess. Tried again Saturday afternoon and it took less then 5 mins and money was in my account before I left the store.
Bit annoyed after...
So far so good for my 15 pro, a decent upgrade from the 12 I’ve had for 3 years. I noticed the higher screen refresh rate straight away, tried my old phone and I don’t think I could go back now.
