Wow! I bought my 8GB RX 580 from OCUK a few months ago for £245. Maybe I should try selling it and getting a 1070 instead!

Is 144hz any benefit if you don't get over 60 FPS? I'm considering a 144hz monitor for my Ryzen 3 / RX 580 system. Now I avg 150fps in Doom so I can see the benefit here but only about 60-70fps in GTA V....

Shame the BenQ doesn't have Freesync or it might be a contender for me.

I'm tempted as I can't find a 27" monitor with the same features for anywhere near this price. Messing about with the tape measure on my desk suggests it'll be too big for how far away I'm sat though :(

True and I was originally looking at these cards but then I will probably upgrade monitors around March/ April time. G Sync is way too expensive so I started leaning towards the RX580 so I can get Freesync.

Good points about the PSU. According to PC part picker my current build is well within the 450w but add a GTX 1080 for example and it wouldn't be sufficient so for a little extra I think I'll go for with the 550w. Any views on Superflower over Corsair. I'm not familiar with the Superflower...
