I believe you can ride a 50cc without Ls on a car license? Won't be much fun though but is useful enough for city commuting. It's a pig that they added all of the A1/A2 nonsense as doing Mod1 & Mod2 on a 125 then waiting 2 years for unrestricted bikes was a real cheap option to get you going...
