Wouldnt worry about the gpu temps, it's the memory you gotta watch and those Fe cards are pretty bad with that!

I had the same thing when I put in my "up to 4.6ghz" 3900x and my motherboard blessed me with 4.2. There was some thing at the time about setting your CPU voltage to "normal" from "auto" in the bios that helped a lot of people.

I found the launch today quite good in comparison to previous. Thought I'd chance my luck about 13:55 and bagged a FE at 14:03 with no chaos. Got a 3070 FE on launch too for my old man, but Im still hankering for a 3080 in my main 1440p 240hz rig and those damn things are fairy dust at 649. MSRP...

Got the 27 in yesterday, seems to be good as gold so far but will see how it goes. I am on a gtx 970 though so capped at 144hz.

Decided to pull the trigger on the 27" tonight. Maybe ill advised with the issues going on, but it can always go back if any chaos ensues! Hopefully it will be an FB02 , but from what I've seen there haven't been quite so many complaints about the 27.
