Fw 1008.1 fixed everything, VRR mode now available, G-Sync ON / HDR On / 5120 x 1440@240Hz 10bpc / No flickering at all, just as perfect as it should be.

Besides corrupted G-Sync at 240Hz@HDR On at 5120x1440, I have no complaints at all, also waiting CP2077 to play at 32:9 maxed out / RTX On / DLSS 2.0 On / HDR On w/ the RTX 3090, 120Hz is good enough for me atm.

Lucky of you. Even with the 456.98 driver hotfix by nvidia which allows 240Hz to be set in nvcpl with an Ampere card, gaming with a RTX 3090 at 5120x1440@10bpx 240Hz, HDR On + G-Sync On is impossible, random screen power off, flicker...have to stay at 120Hz@8bpc to G-Sync works properly .

I did the same here: from 2080Ti to 3080 then to 3090, I'm pretty sure I'm a fool indeed (lol), the Galax 3080 SG was a nice card, now I use only a Gainward 3090, it's fine for me.
