    Load Balancing/Bonding Router

I actually got an Amplifi system for myself whilst I was at it, my current 2 x different AP with same SSID on different channels set up was a bit flakey if inbetween the two access points. The instant system is brilliant, not quite as quick to set up as they claim, but its very simple...

    Load Balancing/Bonding Router

Well the office is just a home office that, at the time I was there, had my mates brother playing PS4 in it :) Perhaps lets call it a study... They went for business broadband as they thought it would offer them the best level of service and both my mate, his dad and mum all run small businesses...

    Load Balancing/Bonding Router

So after FINALLY managing to find some time (but still only a few hours)to get round there, both the vDSL and the community broadband actually seemed ok, but they said both would fluctuate a lot so it could well have just been timing. We decided not to investigate anything super advanced like...

    Kryonaut abrasive??

Is this something isolated to Kryonaut? I'm sure there was some etching on my Black Rock last time I had it off but figured it was just the way it was. I have never used Kryonaut, but AS5, MX4, NT-H1 and perhaps a couple others. Might have to take it off again and have a look.

Poll Borderlands 3 Epic Games Store or wait 6 months for Steam?

Steam for me. Exclusives might be Epics way into the market against the bohemoth that is Steam, but they're bad for the consumer. They can't compete with a high quality platform or prices, so instead they freeze out the competition. They can go sweivel if they think I'm gunna support that.

    RIP Diesel?

I have a 2.0 Volvo Euro 6 and it gets ~60mpg motorway miles with 190bhp and I pay 0 emissions tax or have any concern about the ULEZ... so I would say there is some life in Diesel

    Best Permanent Markers ?

When they claim "this one is mine, I bought it after using yours" Just borrow it and don't give it back. Say you bought a replacement.

NVIDIA RTX PRICE DROP: PRICES ARE COMING DOWN!!

I personally think the VII is expensive as a gaming card too, but the main reason I wouldn't look at it is the noise. Sure, you can mod them and improve the situation, but frankly I'd rather just not bother. Perhaps if we get some AIB model it will become more appealing. If I didnt have a card...

NVIDIA RTX PRICE DROP: PRICES ARE COMING DOWN!!

Depends if they manufacure too many again, I doubt they will make that mistake again as it did hit their shares pretty hard.

Motorcyclists with 'fake' Police vest [POLITE]

My guess would be that the person willing to wear it is probably used to being bullied.

NVIDIA RTX PRICE DROP: PRICES ARE COMING DOWN!!

Still quite a bit too expensive for my tastes, but good to see them moving in the correct direction. Hopefully we will see some market balance within the next year, things are still very skewed thanks to Nvidia and pricing their cards in such a way as to move on their old stock first.

How much space do you need above an amp?

Looks great man! Don't see there being any heat issues with that.

    Baby Georges story

My word that is quite a little fighter you seem to have, overcome some incredible odds by the sounds of it. Can't even begin to fathom what that must have been like but very happy to hear things are going well. Unfortunately I cant see any of the pics on my end, not sure why. All the best for...

How much space do you need above an amp?

Sure, which is why I said a few CM all around it. Not saying a fan is a bad idea, just saying I would be extremely surprised if the device had any problems dissipating 150w of heat as long as the vents aren't blocked. I'm making the presumption that the front and back of the shelf will be...

How much space do you need above an amp?

Looks like a well ventilated chassis and the power usage is stated at 155w, so i would have thought having a few CM all around it would be perfectly fine. I've had poorer quality amps in much tighter spaces without drama.

ebay thread - yeah i know but i'm not sure about it.

Always trust your hunch. If its unusual, walk away. Plenty of people out there willing to do things without any of this fuss so don't waste your time with it.

Real world difference - 16GB vs 32GB memory

Only time I have found 16GB to be lacking is running a few busy VMs for software testing whilst also doing various tasks on the host. I moved my VMs to my server (where they should have been anyway) and got on with the job, but I would say for most people 16GB RAM will be fine for 99.9% of their...

"Staycation" - Help me pick a destination..

I live between the dales and the moors :D I would recommend it for an outdoorsy weekend, some decent beaches around Filey, Scarborough etc. But if the weathers not nice there is also plenty of town/city activities you could get involved with. York is a particularly great city with some great...

Not even sure I'll play it, but probably going to buy it purely out of principle.
