I did it, 3 times.
It's not that hard but I do not recommend doing it because the problem you reported is either in a soldered ribbon or from the panel itself
In case you really want to do it, you start by taking the VESA screws off the back, then using a prying tool you take the back cover...
After only 5 months of owning the 950F and roughly 750 hours of use, my monitor has developed a strange horizontal scanlines issue. They are pretty obnoxious when the display is at 60hz, but barely visible when the panel is at 144hz.
RMA'ing the monitor sounds hard since I bought it off Amazon...
Question to the owners of the LG monitor, how sturdy was the packaging? I've seen that the box is maybe half the size of other Ultrawides and that raises some concerns.
Think it would survive airline travel as a checked baggage?
