I usually use the tape I've already just removed. If you dab it with the sticky side and pull straight up the tape will eventually pull the residual adhesive off the other surface. As you've probably binned that tape a piece of gaffa tape would work just as well.

I wouldn't hold too much stock in what MSI say their BIOS update will do. I've just returned a B450 Tomahawk that failed to work with 3600X as the bios update failed to make it compatible.

I ordered on Weds and just found I was no. 40 in the queue. As @Gibbo said they were only expecting 10 or so in the first batch and then uncertain numbers going forward I've just called and changed to a 5700XT which will be with me on Monday.

Ordered Monday 1:48pm and not dispatched. Phoned this morning and OC were super helpful and apologised. Now have a dispatch notification for tomorrow and refunded delivery. Disappointed it's not going to be today but really impressed with the customer service.
