Buyer claiming item defective - eBay

I agree, lost is lost regardless of the item. The fact they don't pay out on certain lost items when it is not damage is a joke. I do find it funny you pay X amount for them to deliver the item, yet have to pay a fair amount more on insurance to cover yourself for them for not actually doing...

Choose the best AM5 motherboard from my list

Another vote for the MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI. Whilst the MSI boot time is reported longer (nothing to compare to personally), for the price compared to other boards it has a good amount of features such as pcie 5 on m.2 and x16 slot.

Buyer claiming item defective - eBay

Not sure about the credit card. But if the parcel was marked as delivered it is a nightmare to get a refund, I have tried myself several times. I have been successful but takes a lot of pushing them to get it. When sending out parcels I always use the signature on delivery so it doesn't just get...

Buyer claiming item defective - eBay

The no returns basically means the buyer cannot return the item if they simply don't want it as a change of mind. If, however, the item is not as described, broken or damaged then you have to accept the return. This is only for 30 days after the delivery date. After this you do not have to...

Buyer claiming item defective - eBay

If it is more than 30 days after delivery then you can just decline the return as it has passed the 30 days money back guarantee period. If they open a return case go on ebay live chat and tell them it has passed 30 days. eBay can then just close the case for you in your favour, this is what...

RX6600 & MorePowerTool. BIOS check please.

I have a new ASUS Dual RX6600 and used MorePowerTool initially to set the power limit. In the end I just uc/uv in Adrenalin as was looking for lowest power consumption whilst getting the fps I wanted. However, how safe (as in security) is MorePowerTool? As I understand it is suppose to change...

    ***Grand Theft Auto VI***

I know it was only a 90 second trailer but the main characters came across quite generic. I never did like V over IV, sure the graphics were better but it just felt a bit cold to me compare to IV. Main characters were not a match for Niko and Roman. Plus the driving and damage in V sucked imo...

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D motherboard recommendation

How about the MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI? Will give you the X670e chipset and so M.2 Gen5 and PCIe 5.

Customers PC marked their carpet who's liable?

I always think just because someone is disabled / poor / old or whatever it does not automatically make them a nice person who I should feel sorry for. IMO you went above and beyond what you needed to do. I would have just cut contact and ignored them. Even now there is nothing stopping them...

    LTT called out

Felt like they had a meeting on 'how can we make a sorry video to make us look better' rather than actually being sorry. Seemed heavily scripted and acted, even had some lame jokes thrown in. Like has been said, usual corporate PR response and the video is monetised...

    B650 or X670 advice please?

If keeping it for many years maybe look at a MSI X670E Tomahawk or similar which have PCI-E 5. Gives the option of later adding in a PCI-E 5 m.2 or graphics card.

    Being scammed on Ebay

Ebay is becoming worse than ever, have had more false returns recently for items sold than I did a few years back. With the 30 days returns it feels like unscrupulous buyers are taking advantage and basically renting the item for free and then just return it under a false claim, with ebay always...

    Energy efficient card choices.

I currently have a GTX970, which is drawing around 130-150w when gaming. I am looking for an upgrade in the £200-300 range which will give somewhat a boost in performance but more importantly lower wattage. Whilst 130-150w isn't a huge amount I would still like it lower. Main reason is for...

    Pentagon releases UFO footage

I guess the bird was moving slowly and the plane at 0.61. As an example if you have a pencil pinched in the middle between finger and thumb which represents the bird and one end of the pencil is the plane and the other the sea. As you turn the pencil both ends cover a larger distance compared to...

Peugeot 3008 1.6 hdi judder issue

Thanks for the replies. I spent abit more time testing the car today. Tried slowly creeping the car forward and it was shuddering as it has done. So I tried pressing the "S" mode button next to the gear selector, I assume this stands for sport. When creeping forward the shuddering stopped...

Peugeot 3008 1.6 hdi judder issue

I recently bought a Peugeot 3008 1.6 hdi auto 2010 from auction for the sole reason it was cheap and fitted the job it needed to do for work with the decent boot space. Now, I've read stuff about the ECG auto being terrible, but for the price I paid I decided to gamble and see how bad it really...

Tory MP Sir David Amess murdered

A truly terrible thing to happen, cannot imagine what his wife and children are now going through. I see reported on the BBC it has now been declared a terrorist incident by the police with a potential link to islamist extremism.

    Google Pixel 3a bricked randomly

Did, only to find out I am 2 months outside of warranty :( I asked them about all the reports recently of 3s randomly dying, however, they side stepped that one a few times. Instead Google quoted £284 + VAT for the repairs, which is a joke.
