    Gfx card upgrade

Unless you really really want Nvidia i would go for a 6800XT for 600-700 quid instead, they are simply better value.

Gaming Cost and Electricity prices going up in the UK

60 FPS is generally fine but its not a myth at all and you dont even need to be a competitive player to notice the difference from going to a 60hz screen to a 120hz tv or a 144hz monitor and it has nothing to do with ghosting or bluring, 144hz is stupidly smoother specially in faster paced games.

    GIGABYTE 3080TI 12GB GAMING OC vs 3090FE

No offense but this is a bit of a no brainer question, you got a better card for less money, there is nothing to think about. (dont get me started on how much better the FE card looks)

Ampere owners - do you own a FE/reference or AIB model?

Had a 3080 FE earlier this year, on a 3090 AIB now, also refuse to pay extortionate prices, good thing Nvidia didn't forgot the UK market unlike a certain company.

Founders Edition Coil-whine - RMA experiances

Personally i wouldnt RMA it, specially considering the market, just undervolt it, limit the frame rate to your monitor maximum on top of it, last thing you want is ending up being unlucky and being refunded considering the market.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, the flagship reinvented

there is nothing about 3080 being EOL, its been a rumour going for so long now yet we keep seeing 3080 FE drops.
