Yeh the light's really don't do much but I'm not too bothered tbh! Maybe if the monitor was wall mounted you'd have a better experience but then who wall mounts a monitor ;)
Still really happy with mine so far!
Finally! A screen without backlight bleed, literally can't see any bleed at all on my unit which is great. I'm using default pictures settings.
Also:
- No ghosting that I've seen so far
- To my eye great picture quality and colour reproduction.
- No speakers :( Not a deal breaker but would have...
Been told by Amazon will be delivered the 27th. Forgot I still had it ordered and had bought a Dell 32inch curved in the sale though that's got backlight bleed so going to return it anyway.
Feel bad not ordering from OCUK but can't ignore free delivery :(
Presumably you used SCAN? that and Overlockers seem only place to be saying stock soon but both charge delivery fees unfortunately :(
Any staff from OC got a date for delivery?
Seen a review on Newegg that mentions some backlight bleed... Think I'll go ahead and order from Overlockers, surely if there is backlight bleed I can just return it?
Just received a reply from MSI regards flicker and blue light, for anyone interested:
'MAG272QR has new technologies to reduce flickering but it is not guaranteed to be zero flicker. You may still experience flickering when the framerate is too low ( <20 fps) or when you are in loading screens...
Looks like Amazon's first shipment instantly sold out for this monitor? Haven't ordered from Overlockers in a year or two, how are they for returns etc?
Was going to say, surely the gaming focused high refresh VA's suffer minimal ghosting? So hard to make a decision as I don't want to be faffing around returning monitors! Already returned two :(
I'm interested in this mainly due to VA panel and size, can't see any info on flicker free or low blue light, anyone got any info on those? Does MSI bother with them or nah?
That BenQ looks great, just wish they did it in a 24-27 as I think 32 would be too big considering how far away I sit (desk it quite shallow)
Could wait for that MSI but then I'll be using the monitor for the PS5 once that's released and I bet it won't support 1440p unfortunately hence why I...
Thanks for all replies everyone! I'm definitely leaning towards VA now as I really don't think I'll mind colour shift, or atleast would take that over bleed/glow if I had to pick one.
Does seem to be significantly less VA available on the market, most geared towards high refresh not Res :(...
