Update.... went to the local high street shop I got the card from and traded for another one and the new one works so it must have been a wonky card

Ok I’m really lost because I don’t even see listings for the slots

Under advanced I have pci subsystem settings, they are all auto except above 4g memory/crypto currency mining one is disabled

Ok well in device manager the only graphics thing listed in Amd Radeon 8 which is the integrated stuff, for some reason it doesn’t seem to see the pci slot

I’m using a Sony TV for a monitor don’t think it has a Dp connection , always used hdmi

Ok did a cmos reset and the integrated graphics work again

Yes it is used, supposed to have been checked by their techs, traded an old iPhone for it

Yeah, closest to cpu slot, rechecked again, stills says no signal on my screen

Yup plugged in, the GPU lights up and the fans spin, I did plug in both the 8 pin and 6 pin connectors

I’ve tried every hdmi, 2 on the card and checked it on the mb one just in case it still did something

Ok guys and girls, I bought a new to me Sapphire RX580 to replace the integrated gpu , I went into the bios and disabled the integrated, installed the card but I get nothing on my display?? What am I doing wrong? I rechecked the connections several times already

Yeah my new memory is 32gb , 2 16gb sticks, so I'll probably leave the 8gb off .....use it for paper weights or something :)

I want to do more gaming but I need some upgrades, I know my current 8GB isn't enough so I'm starting with that...
