Ok so a few years ago I got a Smasung G7 (the original one) as my main monitor.
Now my secondary monitosr is starting to have issues with flicker due to its age and im looking to replace it. For Aesthetics I was looking at getting another G7 but I've noticed the G6 looks to be basically the...
I'm getting an issue where it Black Screens at random intervals. The only thing that seems to fix it is to remove the input cable. Its as if it turns itself off and when i turn it on the screen stays black.
Basically it goes black, i remove the cable, the screen comes back (the difference...
I've already got the Scythe Fuma 2 in place now and the CPU temps have already dropped. I'm now sat at around 60 degrees tops while gaming.
The GPU is still sitting at 75 degrees average and haven't really run a full stress test yet but i have better case fans on the way and yeah, the case is...
Been using my 27" for a week or so now and other than the initial wrestle to get it into place (so glad i didn't go for the 32") i'm loving it. Brighter and sharper than anything i've used before (seriously moving a page to my backup screen shows me how low quality i was putting up with before)...
Can i just ask a question about the Hero?
I first saw this as an ad on another site and everywhere else seems to have it rated as suitable for 150kg but all OC ads say 180kg. Is there some confusion here?
Honestly, not sure. I couldn't find a program to check the fan speeds. I ended up with Dragon Center and now i regret it because my RGB is all screwed up.
As said above, I've got an aftermarket cooler on the way (Scythe FUMA 2) and I still need to pick out some face cans and work out how i want to arrange them. And yeah the XMP thing i have been told before. Not sure what im doing with Bios but ill have a look.
Scythe went to the trouble of making sure their mounting bracket is reversible for AMD vs Intel so im hoping they took that into account and i have found sites that rate it as compatible.
I know some coolers like the Cooler Master MA620 has trouble with Intel chips as it was designed with AMD...
Sure if you've had to deal with this kind of thing before. I'm not much above the level of "Put your PC in a bathtub full of cold water to help with cooling" ;)
Msi X570 Tomahawk
Ryzen 9 3900x
Gigabyte RTX 2080 Super
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 36gb 3600Mhz RAM.
2TB HDD + 500gb M.2 SSD
Lancool 2 case (Stock 120mm Fans, moved so 2 in front, 1 in rear)
Corsair RM750 Gold PSU
Settings are all stock since i've never Overclocked (havent even changed the XMP...
Ok so i just put together my first high end rig. (Ryzen 9 3900x, RTX 2080 Super.)
I thought i'd test it by taking a relatively basic game (7 Days to Die) and cranking the graphics up to Ultra and i quickly started losing textures which i assume was down to overheating. The case was hot to the...
So i've spent years on £60-£100 office chairs from a reputable high street Catalogue based retailer and i'm finally sick of them wearing out after a matter of months.
Recomendations please on something that will take CONSTANT use. I work from home as an office and in the evenings i stream so i...
Any reccomendations on how to get my PC off the carpet so im not clogging the intake?
I've got a Lancool 2 and unfortunately underestimated its size and it won't fit anywhere near my desk so its just sat next to me. Luckily the Lancool does have raised feet so its not flush to the carpet and...
Oh no, its been pretty much confirmed that Monitor is gone. They won't send it back to OC because "they have no record of it" so OC are sorting me another, but its reliant on the next stock delivery.
