    ** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Yeah, think the new section has been cancelled until they figure out how to work it in.

    Is buying 128GB RAM overkill?

32gb should be the max considering what you said you're doing.

    OCUK made Pauls Harware video

Some good publicity for a good deed. Glad to see it.

Wait for RTX 3070 or buy RTX 2060

Definitely wait - the 2060 is a bad choice.

    Lenovo Legion 5 Pro

Thank you lads. Which would you honestly recommend out of the two? I have a 1tb SSD handy to upgrade the storage, so it's purely a matter of spending 300 more quid on better visuals?

    Lenovo Legion 5 Pro

Been looking for a Legion for my brother, does anyone know the difference between the Legion 5 Pro and the regular? Is it just the 512gb of SSD space?

Did VR make you want a bigger monitor?

Haven't wanted a bigger monitor to be honest, dunno why VR would push you to that.

Bit the bullet and managed to buy a 3090 - but........

I mean, if its terrible, its terrible, no point making excuses for them.

Bit the bullet and managed to buy a 3090 - but........

Feel like Asus boards are the best constructed, but the RMA team doesn't seem to be that good on them either. Probably best to just stick with FE.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

850w is what is recommended for a 3090, and the 3080ti is very similar in specs. I'd assume you're 100w short at the least.

The "I might pay over £2k for GPU and here's why" self flagellation thread

To be fair, some AIOs did go up to 1800~. Assuming you got one of those, all you're paying is the extra "premium". Not that you should, but yeah.

£400 to buy a new CPU

5800x trays on markets or just push for the 5900x on offer on OCUK

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

Consoles have poor implementation of VR gaming, which I'm quite keen of, besides - they're being scalped all the same + they have subscription services. Not to say they aren't great pieces of hardware, but for someone with a very good computer other than the GPU, I don't see a point of dropping...

What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

Gorn is also a good one to pickup, I expect you to die is getting a sequel soon-ish. Try budget cuts, perhaps? It's quite fun too.
