Yep your view on reasonable is very different to mine and my wife's is different again. I suppose if your completely new to PC gaming then the prices might be fine. However I've been around a very long time and prefer not to chuck my hard earned away.

The MSRP for all these cards is overpriced IMHO. I've never paid anything near £500 for any 3070 equivalent. The last card I bought was £251. Scary.

It boggles my mind that there is massive global demand from PC users and miners but only a couple of foundries actually making the chips and very complicated ones at that . How is it ever going to be satisfied?

I purchased an ElectriQ 27" 1440 95hz monitor for £170 and its amazing and looks like my old Dell. The only cons are the stand and the osd menu but I don't use those much and it mounted on a monitor arm. The actual display is superb.

I bought a 1440p monitor early last year in readiness for 3070 but now I'm stuck with a gtx 760. To play Battlefield 5 I have to set the game to run at 1080p so I can get 40fps. But it's all good. :)
