Laptop specs for son doing cyber security

Sounds pretty decent, I could easily have done all my uni work on those specs! :)

Missouri governor Mike Parson vows criminal prosecution of reporter who found flaw in state website

Right, exactly. If this was flipped around, and the Post Dispatch had a certain governor's personal data embedded in their HTML, well, we know who'd still be getting sued.

    DIY Ethernet?

That's reassuring, thanks! The cables *should* all be grounded, each RJ45 is showing continuity to its respective opposite RJ45, and they should be grounded via the switch

    Cyberpunk 2077

Genuinely curious, I only played briefly on release, but do people enjoy the combat? It felt a bit clunky when I tried to play before and I'm not sure if I really want to invest time in playing again

GTA-V inspired controls were confirmed :)

    DIY Ethernet?

Huh, did not know that - good to know! Our cables should all be LSZH (both the CAT6 and CAT6A F/FTP (realised they were F/FTP not just FTP)). Might switch out a couple lengths of CAT6 with the 6A F/FTP until I run out.

    DIY Ethernet?

Might be 2" for half a meter or so too lol. But even then, I think the 6A F/FTP is hopefully fine, and considering the sparky's got a couple lengths of the CAT 6 tangled in a mains power cable for about the same length, I'm sure he'll okay it too when he returns

Dust hacks, Best filters, vacuums or air can

Sweet, I'm good with that. Went w/ a custom loop (perhaps foolishly), so will try to make a routine of checking fittings and dusting. Got a mesh case, so dust-filters would have been a bit too restrictive when flush against the panels

    DIY Ethernet?

Right, that's the direction of concern I am worried about. And primarily only regarding fire safety. Even if we drop from 10GbE to 1GbE with another 1-2ms we're not really concerned. We have a few metres of CAT6A FTP running maybe 3" parallel to power cables. Might just get the sparky to move...

Missouri governor Mike Parson vows criminal prosecution of reporter who found flaw in state website

Have had so many laughs at this in the past couple weeks, how ridiculously absurd. He keeps just doubling down on it. They released this ad last week: How many people watched this during production and just let it go?

    Office Chair vs. Gaming Chair

There's a few sizes, if that helps. If it doesn't work for you then fair 'nuff though

Dust hacks, Best filters, vacuums or air can

Getting tempted by the compucleaner recently, always found the cans to not quite do justice

Dust hacks, Best filters, vacuums or air can

Looks pretty damn good! How often do you dust your PC? Do you end up with persistent dust which doesn't come off?

Ha. Gonna be more like one for each cheque though; they're gonna max out some folks' bank accounts with this thing! I guess we wait for a 26gb 3090 for a real giggle

SSUPD MeshLicious (from the makers of the FormD T1)

Any recommendation for either SSUPD feet which are >13mm tall, or a <30mm right angled DisplayPort cable / adapter? Have my GPU at the lowest height, and can't fit a cable below :'(
