Well this week was PR week but last week I came down with a savage virus so haven't been to the gym since last Monday (15/04) (where I pulled a deadlift double @97% so a PR for this week was looking good).
I'm finally starting to feel better (just about) but not sure if I should just skip this...
110hours and finished my first (probably only) play through.
I liked all of the main story beats although I'm not sure how I feel about:
Up until chapter 12 I was making sure I was completing everything. All world intel (except for the proto relics on Gilgamesh Island), all of the mini...
I had a Saturn for a time (after I'd already had a PS 1 for a few years). It just did everything worse than the other consoles available at the time (other than 2d fighters).
The Dreamcast on the other hand...still probably my favorite console of all time.
I'm a little confused about the Demon Slayer announcement.
Are they essentially showing the last season in film form with a sneak peak of the new season at the end?
I'm actually loving the water shoes. Just like wearing socks but with grip.
39 now (40 in July). Recovery is no worse (for lifting at least) than it was in my late 20's/30's. BJJ injuries are easier to pick up and my recovery for that definitely takes longer these days.
I was thinking about them but it's more than I would like to spend on something I use every now and again when I go to the same gym as my mrs.
I've ordered a pair of water shoes for a tenner. I'll see how I get on with them.
I was at "The Gym" (franchise) yesterday and was told I had to put my shoes back on for deadlifts. I got unreasonably angry about this (not at the person telling me this, just in general).
I'm thinking of buying some primark converse knock offs to keep them happy.
I struggle with feeling engagement in my lats with rows but I've found I feel way more with a barbell when more upright. Before I'd either do pendlay rows or rows from the angle of pendlay and never really got anything out of them. I changed to more of a 45-60 degree hinge at the hips (as...
Loved Stronglifts but I hit a wall about a year and a half in. Kept on dropping back and getting up to the same numbers as before an failing. Stronglifts is amazing for starting out but I think it hits a limit and then it's time to move on to a new program. It's hard to say if you've hit the...
The lore goes, that they're manipulating time to take you back to a point where you had more health (I think). In practice it probably works like all the other healers.
I've been playing SOD over the weekend. Struggled to do much with how busy it was but got a pala tank for 14 so far.
Going to roll a Mage healer as well.
Really enjoying it.
Thanks. I could do but haven't reinstalled Windows from scratch for about 5 years. I don't have any massive reason to start from fresh, other than to get rid of all the junk I don't use in one go but essentially you're saying I will be able to back to Windows 10 either way?
