cheers, was what i was thinking, that and the ram because the system wouldn't display eitiher on the onboard graphics regardless of which ram stick was present. Only other thing i have not done so far is reseat the cpu because i didn't have any thermal paste with me. good call i had overlooked...

i can honestly say i have not seen any of that with this monitor, i am using the dark theme on these forums and have checked it against others and have not seen any evidence of this "black smearing" Ok since writing that i hadn't seen this but i can confirm yes there is some of this happening...

36 here, been mainly playing Rocket League, Stationeers, DayZ. Cities Skylines, Satisfactory, Ostriv, Surviving Mars, PUBG, Rust, and a few other titles. One has too many games and not enough time to play them all.

tried that with no joy either, troubleshooting and finding the cause is going to be a fun task.

it is a 750w corsair psu, i am waiting for them to bring the pc round here to mine as i have a spare pc i can test the other components in to rule one out at a time.

So helping a friend out do some minor upgrade to their pc, new fans installed and 1tb SSD installed awaiting to be cloned as they have an old school HDD only and recently been having issues with the system being a bit slow at times (Hence the upgrade to SSD) One of the fans already in he pc case...

Not too worried about those, M.2 Nvme main drive and a fairly new AMD Ryzen 3600x, with 32gb DDR4 to boot. Good to know about the card, will have to think about hitting that buy button or not.

Recently bought two of these monitors, OMG loving them, spent same sort of money a few years ago on another older rog gaming monitor so very surprised to have been able to get two curved screens for that sort of money with such awesome quality. Only down point is the speakers are not of the best...

So i am living in a privately rented flat built in the 60's and they where known for issues with mould in the bathrooms due to only having a poor extracter fan and no windows. Totally my own fault it has ended up getting pretty bad as one didn't realise about the dehumidifier in the airing...

I noticed directly after posting and hit edit right away, shows how long it has been since using the forum format lol, it is a shame as forums where epic back in the day and i have to agree it is forums like this which will carry on. If not a facebook ground then a community discord takes over...
