    E92 - Replacing 19" Runflats with Non-Runflats

Both Goodyear and Contis get good reviews online. I have the Contis fitted and find them good.

    Warranty Direct?

Why can't you get the BMW Warranty? I am paying around £43 a month for my BMW Comprehensive Warranty with zero excess sub 60k miles, and I bought my car privately.

BMW SE vs. M Sport ride quality

I have an E92 M-Sport 19" with RFT fronts. I actually find it tiring to drive as you are constantly looking out for and swerving to avoid potholes and drains. As hitting one will result in a cracked alloy or a large earthquake through the car.

    Parking ticket..wrong reg

I had the same from Windsor Council last month and simply ignored it as the ticket is not enforceable. Haven't heard anything since.

    Dealership servicing worth the extra?

Try and negotiate the service price, I managed to get BMW to drop their original offer by £130.

Winter tyres, snow socks and chains.

Apart from getting stuck on a hill last Friday, my summer tyres have got me around fine this winter :)

How to get onto the housing ladder

I'm in a identical position as you OP, but being in London the property prices are simply crazy. Based on my salary and these online 'how much can I borrow calculators', I can probably borrow around £100k apparently. A small flat in South-West London is roughly £150k? So I'll need at least...

    E92 issues

On the seatbelt problem, does the end of the butler flick out? If yes and the belt slips off, get a pair of hair straighteners and add a 'fold' to the seatbelt. I done this back in August and it catches perfectly each time without slipping.

    BMW and M Power Owners

Seems like many MOT centres have a problem pulling the correct emission parameters when using only the registration of a modern BMW. When mine failed on emissions last week, it was because the tester entered my registration onto their system and it pulled a lambda upper limit of 1.03 Having...

    BMW and M Power Owners

Doing a bit of research I came across this http://www.bmwland.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=133386 Does anyone know if it's true that the upper limit for lambda reading is 4.0? My reading was 2.2.....

E92 320i failed its MOT on emissions earlier, lambda reading was too high. How likely is this down to not taking the car for a blast? It had a new oxygen sensor fitted last week, could it be related?

    My New Car

Mine goes in for a MOT tomorrow, dreading a call to say it's failed on a cracked alloy. That's a pivotal quote from their Corporate Manager, I've just saved the bookmark incase of any future disputes.

    BMW and M Power Owners

My front bumper has had so many close encounters with kerbs whilst parking! Even when reversing I am always scared my exhaust or rear bumper will scrape a kerb as the sensors don't pick them up.

    BMW and M Power Owners

On my 320i, I've stuck with the door jam runflat pressures and have my CSC5's inflated to 38PSI at the rear, tyre wear fairly even. I don't like higher pressures as it makes the ride even harder and crashes more when going over bumps in the road, probably increasing the chances of a cracked...

What were your tell-tale signs that they were cracked? Or was it during a tyre change/inspection that the cracks were discovered? I have the same 225's, tyre pressures remain constant atm, just worried that mine could have a crack as my roads are shocking! Guess its a matter of time.

Hope you get some good news! I'm always fearing for the worse too as the road surfaces around my area is shocking! Was it visible with the tyre on, or was the crack only visible with the tyre off?
