My wife and I had one each. I never found it that comfortable. The arm rests disintegrated after about a year. And the one I had had a very noisy tilt mechanism which squeaked loudly every time I moved - drove me up the wall. This was a few years ago so these issues may have been resolved in...
I have a leather strap on my 1675 made by strap-works.co.uk. The vintage leather they used is now out of stock, but the strap is very well made so they are worth a look. The other I'm considering getting is one of the Italian made JPM straps from here...

Just been re-issued on Blu-Ray and looks really good.
Enjoyed it a lot. Great car chase sequence (director Peter Yates went on to direct Bullitt) and a great cast. A really good old-school British drama. I think this must have been a big influence on The Sweeney.

I admired him as a musician and that he chose to retire from music to put his family first.
I think the last three TalkTalk albums and his subsequent solo album were all masterpieces.

We had one a while back. It wrecked the cat door in our garden gate. Then wrecked the bottom of the gate. Tried to destroy the dustbin we use to keep bird feed.We also have hedgehogs in the garden and came out one morning to find bits of hedgehog skin so I guess the badger killed and ate one...
