Ah one golden nugget I found was on this forum somewhere. It said to lock the chipset mhz to 250. I cant push my e6600 past 3.19ghz and the chipset on the mobo is roasting, seriously I could cook bacon and eggs on it.

Ive got the same mobo and same cpu and I had the same problem. As someone has already mention the RAM and CPU Fsb are linked. so go into bios unlink them and you can push the CPU and the RAM speeds up separately. Id leave the RAM at default speeds and then play with the CPU til your happy...

Of course, voltage, why didnt I think of that. I didnt see a sticker telling me anything other than the RAM speed rating. I find it a bit suss that you have to change the settings in order to reach the manufacturers default speed. Thanks for your help fellas

Ive got the P5N32-E 680i. NB and SB are 680, but SB runs very hot at 67c Idle. Still a good board, loads of OC options. I had one problem getting to boot from SATA sometimes it saw the drive other times it didnt. Change of cable to the one supplied fixed the problem though.

Ive just recently brought this board, Bios says NB is a normal 34c, NZXT Lexa Case temp sensor says 67c. This is at idle btw and not yet oc'd.
