Looks like you might be on to something.
After all the messing around the other night with drivers and BIOS updates and such I thought I had it sorted. No crashes randomly or under load, all was sweet. That was until this morning when I put my side panel back on. Welcome back black screen...
I can tomorrow, currently at work. Although it's not much to look at, just a single cable running from the card, through the rubber bung in the case and into the PSU.
I've sat there and wiggled the cable while it's running and couldn't get it to crash. The cable/plug isn't getting hot either...
Haven't uninstalled iCue, and I would have thought the PCie5 rail would have been fine. Could be wrong. Doesn't really explain why it was fine for weeks though.
Thanks for all the replies.
Just to fill in a few blanks...
- Machine has locked up since updating iCue, I just haven't had any iCue errors in Event Viewer
- Currently MW3 is about all I have time to play and yes it started after the install of it. However, I had previously been playing MW2...
Hey all, sorry this is a big long winded.
As the title says. Recently (in the last week) I have been getting seemingly random black screen crashes. This has happened mid-game, with mild desktop use and at idle. There seems to be no obvious reason for it.
I hadn't had any of these crashes with...
I was using the headphone jack from my audio interface into my line in, but since the motherboard change, when I try to use that I'm getting like a squeeling noise over the top of the outputted audio. Which is odd cause both boards had Realtek audio.
Well i tried FlexASIO and that solved the output issue but the latency is too high for it to be usable. It has no GUI to adjust buffer sizes and stuff, you can create your own config file but it seems like a bit of a cluster.
Thanks for that. I'll have a look at that link.
I never used to have issues with ASIO allowing me to output multiple sources when I used the Line In for my input, but now I'm using USB as the input it's all going to hell.
Thanks for the tip. I've turned that option off now and thought it had fixed the issue, but for some reason it changed my outputs in Guitar Rig to 'Not Connected' and when I changed them back I had the same issue. This is so frustrating lol.
EDIT: It even takes over Netflix and Media Player. I...
Hey all, long time no post.
I'm having a bit of an issue.
I use a Behringer USB audio interface to run my guitars through my PC. I also use ASIO to process the signal (to lessen latency etc).
The problem I'm having is that when I open Guitar Rig 5 for instance I get playback fine but it...
Hey all.
Been a damn long time since I've posted here!
Anywho, last week Windows decided it needed to do an update (1903 or something I believe).
Upon doing the update and restarting, I was greeted with no Wifi or Bluetooth. And I mean nothing, like the hardware doesn't exist. All the options...
Just wondering if anybody on here mods their retro consoles? I just finished modding a v1 Megadrive/Genesis so it actually has composite plugs, with proper L/R stereo and video, i could have added S-Video too, but i'm lazy. :p
I plan to overclock the old girl too with a 10mhz oscillating...
Been trying to play co-op with a friend of mine but everytime we get to the loading screen that says "Waiting for players" his display driver crashes/restarts and he's booted. He can't join normal servers either but campaign runs fine.
He's running a 6970 BFBC2 Edition, with 12.4 drivers...
