HMG encouraged diesel powered car purchases by reducing fuel duty then raised it to 'catch people out'. A typical selfish move. I suspect most HMG decisions are based on friends and family advice not real science

Having gone through the nervous wait for exchange I now find I am going to have to carry on waiting. In order to complete our multigenerational home we now need planning permission . Life is full of waiting.
But if costs are higher why is profit higher? Profit is not cost based? End price could be lower than they are now if profits were lower even if costs are higher.
If profits have gone up three fold what cost increase has driven that?! Or is it just profiteering? How much would high street petrol be if they kept profits to a simple inflation matching level.

Yes I initially saved money but prices rise and inflation takes over so you end up paying more.
We did find installing a 5000l rain collection system helped a lot.
96p per litre for heating oil for my son last week, I managed to get a fixed price energy tarrif last week at the pre rise price . I haven't seen any petrol price reduction since the budget maybe it just curtailed ongoing rises.
I've run Cat 6a over 100m and there is no performance degradation. I would test the cable and connections. Are you sure the ports at either end are running properly?
