Best way of doing it is with ChromeCast dongle. Might work with AppleTV but haven’t tried, definitely used ChromeCast and works really well. And obviously no cables! And probably cheaper than a cable too

Yes, that’s what I meant by hardware test from start up unless there’s another test. I’ve googled the danglies off this and tried everything I can do, feel out of options. Not sure what Apple can do that I haven’t.

If it doesn't need waterproofing at depth, then the AW1 second hand isn't such a bad thing, looks like around £200-300 on the 'Bay, though doesn't go to below 15m iirc. But as a durable camera it's one of the better ones.
