Think FE PartAlerts is having issues with the links. Getting repeated notifications every few seconds :cry: If only it was more stock popping up everytime..

I moved from a 3080FE to a 3090FE. I mainly play Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 in VR and the difference was marked. Much less stuttering and an overall smoother experience. I think the extra VRAM really helped in this instance as msfs is a VRAM hog.

That’s a shame, I remember it being loads of fun! I’d love to drop one on my Zen3 chip and see what I could get. Mind sharing where you’ve seen them for sale ? Obviously assuming they aren’t a competitor for Overclockers ? Thanks

Does anyone do this anymore ? Back in 2007 I had a Single stage unit built by Pazza which took my E6600 to 4.61Ghz, it was loads of fun. I had the thought I'd look for another similar unit now, but I can't find any details or units for sale anywhere! Are there anay UK builders or retailers...

I don’t ever see over 98deg VRM temps max when gaming even with a mild overclock and nothing over 68deg core. And the fans do not sound like a jet for me, sits nicely around 50-70% depending. maybe some are better than others ?

What's happened ? I'm not up to speed last played it a few days ago after Sim Update 5 and it seemed fine bar a couple of my 3rd party planes had glitches.

Thanks for the info Paradigm, my reason for the Vodooo card is purely a nostalgic one, I always wanted a 3DFX card when I got as a kid and inevitably could never afford such a thing so I guess it’s a bit of that. Those 5500 are way more than I’d want to spend though. So I’m hoping the 3 3000...

The Moddiy PCI-E for the GPU and Phanteks sleeved extensions for the motherboard.

No issues, and no coil whine, which was a nice suprise after my 3080 which did have an audible buzz when under load.
