With a CD 6400 in this board I have managed at last to raise the FSB from 266 to 313 Mhz and tightened up the memory timings a notch (PC5300). Previously I couldn't get above about 275 then I saw a thread about raising the PCI to 120. I set the PCI to 115 and got the FSB to 305, then to 313...

Trouble is mcb is there to protect the cable so be careful ! Should be solid core 20 amp cable with at least two cables behind each socket.

Had it been the cause of the mcb tripping, you would have had plenty of local evidence...................... However, you should investigate what is causing that fault I always thought ring power circuits were 20A but I am propably out of date Got a smoke alarm ?
