The Antec 550w is made by Seasonic, and received the gold award in a PC magazine i read. it actually beat a whole load of other more expensive PSU's. I think crossfireing 2x 5850's would require a high powered PSU.

My kids have an Xbox 360, Wii and a DSI each. out of them all, its the DSI's that get used the most. the Wii was a complete waste of money.

+1 for the PhenomII X3 720 BE. I have one, and can confirm it is the dogs dangly bits. Runs very cool even with a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Also instead of all the OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w Modular PSU that have been posted, I'd go with the Antec TruePower New Modular 550W PSU...

I think he means most of the vibration comes from the case, but to help reduce it, you could stand the case on some kind of vinyl mat.

Do you mean i should take the foam filter out, and put that between the fan, and the side case, or put the whole thing in between? Just one side of the Akasa filter has no holes for screws, and the screws for my fan are like rubber grommits. although i do think i have some proper metal...

haha i actually bought one of them a few days back, but have no idea how to actually fit the thing. the fan on the inside of the window is an 120mm Enermax Apoolish fan.

I have the scout and love it, apart from the massive amount dust coming in from the fan i have on the side window. I'm going to have to change to another case because of this.

I've had this sound card for a while, and even now i just don't know what settings to use for games. For movies i usually use 2 channels, 48 khz. But for games, i have no idea. take BF2 for instance, i've tried 6 channels, and 48khz, and set game mode + DS3D, and i can hear popping...

hmm i've just been having a good look on Google, and it mentions something about spdif in loopback, and sure enough my xonar control panel has that option in the spdif drop down box.
