Bad CBT Experience - looking for some advice

I had a pretty bad CBT experience as well. I actually ended up reporting the school to the DVSA. They weren't particular nasty to me, but they skipped over bits of the CBT that I considered pretty essential. My main point of disappointment, was the fact they deemed it unnecessary to teach how to...

*** How to obtain a bike license ***

Just been out my bike, and the gear selector was so much better. Felt like a much bigger cap between the foot peg and the lever.

*** How to obtain a bike license ***

Well had my CBT yesterday. Seemed to go pretty well, a lot harder to control the bike than I expected though. I wasn't particularly good during the first part, with cones etc. Was pretty nervous when they said it was time to go out on the road. But was absolutely fine on the road, really quite...

*** How to obtain a bike license ***

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably take a couple a months after the CBT, recoup some cash, and gain expierence on the 125. Suppose I can take the theory test in the meantime, and try not to look at proper bikes :)

*** How to obtain a bike license ***

I have my CBT on Tuesday :) Also brought a Honda CB125F at the weekend. Do you guys think I should wait sometime before considering to do my DAS? I didn't know if it was wise to get ride the 125 as a learner for a year or two first, or just jump straight into it? I've never ridden a...

My Vectors are always complaining about low battery, on one side. Seems to just be incorrectly reporting, as they last for months on low before they finally give out. Sure your's isn't a similar problem? As somebody else said, tempretures also have an effect.

Thought I'd drop in for a quick catch up. Hope everyone's doing well :) Completed my first sportive (and longest distance ride), just over a week ago now. Have clearly caught the bug, as I've signed up for another 6 this year :O Plan is to get my first century ride nailed by September. Anyone...

Good advice, I just brought one of the Pro Viz jackets which are very reflective. High viz (orange, yellow etc) is pretty useless in the dark though, only really good in low light. You want something completely reflective.

Yeh that was my thinking, I doubt any thing would happen. I guess my friends thought some kind of driver awareness.

Hey guys. May I get your opinion on a close call with a bus the other day? I guess I'm kinda used to being treated like road debris on the road, but I showed this video to a few friends at work and they've been pushing me to send it to the bus company. I doubt it'll get me anywhere, and no...

I don't really know. I was just riding along went to shift to the small ring, heard a strange noise and it wouldn't shift, stopped and noticed the damage. I did fall over on that side, just under a year ago. I guess it could have weakend the metal, or the chain jammed. Fortunately, I wasn't...

Can you guys give me some advice on replacing a broken part on my bike please? I think it's called the front derauiler cage, which has basically snapped in half meaning I can't shift between the big and small ring. Picture below of the two points that have snapped. I've looked at my bike's...

Looks like I picked a good week to take as holiday (makes a change) :) Hoping to get over to the Isle of Wight on Wednesday, been many times but never cycled it. Keep meaning to. Legs are feeling a bit toast today, as I've just done 2 weeks of solid tempo riding. Also, since starting to use a...

I was quite intrigued by it. It's got ANT+ so I guess you can connect power meters, don't know of any Android apps though (apart from Strava obviously)

Any recommendation on bib shorts guys? I'm trying to buy an 'expensive' pair every month to build up my collection. I don't really know what to go for this month, nothing in Wiggle's sale strikes out at me. My favorites so far were the NFTO bibs I think Roady recommend a fair few months ago...

I've just upgraded to a Exposure Strada, sodding expensive but really nice. I ride a lot on unlit country road so needed something with a punch. I seem to go through a new front light every winter, come to Autumn and they're dead. A mate reckons it's the batteries completely loosing their...

I have a pair of Aftershokz (version 2, i think). I wouldn't recommend them though as mine don't get much use. Main three problems for me: 1. - Drowned out by traffic, on full volume you can't hear anything on a busy road, fine out in the country though 2. - Don't think well with...
