its up to you how much you want to spend. If you want a smaller PC for LANs etc then you could look at mini itx builds, Asus ROG do some nice ITX and mATX boards. There are also some ITX cases out there that take full length GFX cards.
You could upgrade slowly over time, maybe start with a...
I was running LEx 5-10 times a day for a month and only ever got 2 barretts chest both elec rolled. i thought they were junk but it works really well with my smg shield build. still i would have preferred a stam or firearms roll
recently built my house and ran all the cabling at first fix. a few tips. if you think you need a single or double network point - double it. i ran 4 to all TV points and where i would have only ran 1 i put in doubles. Everything has network connection these days and i prefer for them to have a...
the Ryzen looks good on paper but i think i will wait a few months to see what happens with it. If it is as good as everyone is saying then great but also i think it will bring the price of Intels I5 and i7 chips down which would also be great.
A 480w PSU will be fine for the Intel/1060 or 1070...
Edge router or unifi usg pro should do it. or build a custom pfsense box with multiple nics for however many connections you need.
I use a Unifi USG it has 2 WAN ports. i have my fibre modem plugged into one and then a backup copper connection into the other. i then have it set to fallover to...
i used MADvR for a while. i spent longer messing with the settings to get that perfect picture than i did enjoying what i was watching. I now only use it on my cinema because on a big screen its more noticable. it does use a lot of resources. i have an i5 3450 and a amd 270. it doesnt max them...
500w is more than enough. i would avoid the cheap included PSU's and go for a more reputable brand. maybe look at EVGA hybrid modular, they seem like a good bang for buck or corsair. At least they both come with decent length warranties
thats awesome. im running a 4670k on a AIO water cooler and with a clock of 4.5ghz im getting temps around 75c+. I know the Haswells run hotter anyway but getting 75c on air is awesome.
I have BT FTTP on option infinity 2 (80/20). Although when i log into my homehub it says i have infinity 3. My current speeds are 78-80MB down and between 18-26Mb up. not sure why the upload bounces around so high.

May as well get hdmi 2.0...
I have fttp no copper. However I can only get fibre speeds I.e. 80mb plus on my fttp line. My copper line can only have max 6mb. So unless someone else can use the fttp line I guess I'm stuck with BT
