That's a bit of a bold statement :p (no pun intended) PES has always been the better game up until last year but the only reason FIFA 08 was the better game was because PES2008 was so poor. This year however, FIFA 09 easily beats the competition on all levels.

Just played one game, but how good is it! FIFA has the whole package now, 08 was far too slow and the player movement in 09 is spot on. I won't have to buy PES now as this plays superb.

There are still lots of people in the world who don't own a PS2. At the moment if your going to be choosing a console it still has the best library of games available and you can pick most of the top games up for under £20 instead of £35 / £40 like PS3, 360 and Wii games. This topic is stupid.
