Gigabyte Waterforce 2080Ti RMA’d 18 Feb. From install it was showing occasional bright coloured flashing artefacts when running BF5 in RTX. Wasn’t enough to worry me at first thinking it could be a driver issue, but when it also started showing similarly with Metro Exodus, I thought there must...
Anyone have any idea when the XI Formula will be in stock?
My current board (Extreme V) has died and in need of a new one to go with the 9900X that i am going to buy.
Have to agree totally with you there. By far the best game that I've played on my Vive. VR at it's best. Superb graphics and storyline. A must buy even for those apposed to buying anything from Oculus. The
developers deserve a good return on this title as it sets the AAA bar pretty high.
Ummd and Ahhd and waited long enough to see what GPU AMD would come up with and decided to go for this. (First change from Red to Green)
Pretty satisfied so far.
Edit: The card is the Gigabyte Aorus GeForce 1080Ti "Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition."
I haven't played Dota 2 but been using the Dota 2 VR to watch some matches and it is definitely a great experience. (also free.)
Elite Dangerous and DCS World (free) are superb.
Dirt Rally using Revive is really good too. (best with wheel and pedals though)
This is on the HTC Vive.
1: 2 x PowerColor LCS 7970's
2: To be honest I knew nothing about them till I read a recommendation from Gibbo to see what JohnnyGURU thought of them and after his glowing 10/10 review I knew that my next PSU should be the Super Flower Leadex GOLD 1300W, ready for my next upgrade round. :)
I guess you must have been "burnt" a few times on the net to be so untrusting.

I'm a retired professional, and not that stupid to spend this amount of money on a TV/Monitor that only runs at 30Hz. I like my bit of BF4 et al, along with the next bloke.
These...
Crikey and I've just told you it does.... I'm using it now, as we speak.
My output is from my LCS 7970 via mini Dp to DP (albeit with an adapter in between) 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz
Come here and I'll show you LOL
Both the mini to normal DP (male to female) adapter and the standard DP to DP (male to male) are not "branded" but the later was provided with a Dell monitor.
Sorry can't help further.
Ohh and as you have said, as people will be interested in getting 4K monitors, I can recommend this...
I'm running a Panasonic TX 50AX802B 4k tv as a monitor. 3480x2160 @ 60Hz via a mini DP to DP is not a problem. This from a pair of Powercolor LCS HD 7970s.
Mine idles at around 60 and reaches 90 under load.
This is an ASUS 6950 with the standard ASUS 6970 BIOS tweak.
Seems high to me in a big well ventilated case.
I'm waiting for my extended bridge before running the second one as it just doesn't get enough airflow with them in adjoining slots...
Just this moment finished unlocking my Asus 6950's from O'clockers today.
I'd waited until the 6990 came out and I saw the details, now to get a better performance from my Crossfired 6950s for well over £100 less and not have invalidated any warranty is amazing.
Took me a little while to...
