    Can anyone read music?

Read music perhaps, but understanding music and the concepts behind it is pretty necessary. And if you can do that you tend to be able to read it.

    Talking in bed

My point being that when you're standing you are usually doing something else. Noradrenaline is the chemical produced for instinctive emergency type situations, often associated with the "fight or flight" reaction, so not sure how much of that is released during standing about.

    How many X's ?

I would say the insecure one would be he who goes onto an online forum and persistently makes up tall stories. But you've never done that, have you?

    Talking in bed

It's exactly the same, you lie down and you're doing nothing else so you have more time to think, creatively or otherwise. It's not like you lie down and suddenly become more creative.

    How many X's ?

I've always gone with none, because it's always seemed a girly thing to do, it seems everyone does it now though. EDIT: Just lol at Scuzi. One day maybe you'll care little enough about these things to get a girlfriend.

Any Engineers here? (Not Plumbers/Mechanics/Fat people in overalls)

Not really, your friend works nights which will bump his wage up a lot.

    Were you Christened? - I wasn't

That's exactly the point myself and badbob are making, the religion of your parents has a massive influence on what religion, if any, you will follow in the future. I'm not anti-religion.

    Were you Christened? - I wasn't

So you're saying the chances of becoming a Christian are similar for those brought up as a Christian compared to those with no religious sway either way during their childhood? I didn't say "the majority of people", just said it's far more likely. Of course people brought up in Christian...

    Were you Christened? - I wasn't

That's why I said "christening etc," if your family take you to church, make you participate in Christian activities, celebrate Christian festivals etc, you will be far more likely to become a Christian. You really can't see the point being made there?

    Were you Christened? - I wasn't

That's not what we're talking about though is it, Christening etc is forcing your children into following a certain religion before they have the ability to decide for themselves.

    Were you Christened? - I wasn't

Totally unrelated analogy, teaching someone to play an instrument is passing on a skill, forcing them into a religion is totally different.

You don't even need A-levels to join the marines, just need to pass their entry exams.

    Stuck with life

I know a couple of guys who left school as soon as they could and are now in the Royal Marine Commandos, so I'm not sure how much bearing it has on that side of things. Definitely counts for becoming an officer though.
