Pragmata - strong 9/10
A little bit of those anime style tropes in the story as it progressed, but fortunately it was just a catalyst for what is a fairly grounded and well delivered plot overall (if nothing especially original), interactions between the main characters were great. Fantastic...
You are a human on a moon mission (you see his face sometimes), the girl can hack machines and stuff and helps you out.
It's a new IP so a bit harder to sell, it hit a million in a couple of days though so has done quite well.
I'm trying to remember, are those the ones you have to shoot at the top part of their head for a proper headshot?
You might also just be able to run past them to the next area/room, making use of your block if you need to.
Pragmata certainly exceeded my expectations, lots of depth to the gameplay with how the shooting and hacking work together and all the different gear/upgrades you get for them.
The only Grace mod I really like is this one, The author does some excellent RE2/RE3 remake mods too, especially the REhauled Claire mod.
edit: the Leon RE9 outfit for Grace is cool too though.
Yeah I liked 7, even if it's not among my favourites, I didn't really like 8 personally though. Most fans of RE rate them both more highly though so definitely worth playing.
I would say go to 7, 8 and 9. Fortunately the stealth insta-death part in 7 is over quite quickly and doesnt really repeat later. There is one other similar stealth part but it's optional, without spoiling, it's related to 'tapes'. There are still other hide and seek parts in the game, but you...
I'd rather paint a room and watch it dry than play Crimson Desert, it's just not for me. I can certainly see why many folk do like it though.
After being in a Resident Evil binge I've been playing some more Dyson Sphere Program as my chill 'Sunday bad weather' type game. It's a bit outside of...
Hades 2 is awesome, one of my favourite games of last year alongside Mario Kart World and Cronos The New Dawn.
Yeah one good thing about Nintendo games holding their value is it can be cheap to play them if you don't care about keeping them, even if you buy them new at release.
This reminded me of first playing OG RE2 when Mr X. still my biggest jump scare in a game to date lol.
I actually like that he chases you around RPD in the remake, rather than just randomly appearing momentarily for jump scares in the OG though.
In the remake you can greatly reduce how much...
He appears on all scenarios, maybe not on easy tho? not sure.
I get why people don't like it, but for me it's just not the same game without Mr X and the tension he adds. Love the terminator vibes with the music that kicks in too, very 90s.
I usually sneak past the first couple in RPD on harder difficulties as they're fairly easy to avoid and I like hoarding my ammo, but I kill the later ones.
When shooting, I think you also get more damage if you let the reticle fully settle/close before firing (it's not just for accuracy).
I got killed by a Licker last time I played becuase I forgot that on hardcore difficulty they can hear you running from further away - I went from walking to...
Yeah the original RE2 scenarios were more distinct and made more sense for story, they're far more similar in the remake but I guess it was largely done to give the game more content. I prefer the overall slightly slower paced gameplay in the remake personally, even if the scnearios are far less...
You have to do second run with the opposite character to get the full story/ending.
A character's second run is like a remixed and slightly harder version of their first run.
Ah fair enough, I'm quite familiar with these games so always want the first run to last as long as possible. Nothing quite like the first run in a new RE game for me :).
Lol just depends on the experience you want and what's fun for you in the end. I enjoy the strategy/planning and retrying that goes into harder modes personally but that's not for everyone.
I think Claire first then Leon B is considered the best route, so good that you started Claire if you...
lol yeah Resi 4 isn't a top 'resident evil' game, but great fun and I felt it did tension well considering.
I think a big reason we have the action side of RE is becuase they're running out of ideas to expand on the original formula, and I think that'd be really apparent if we didn't have the...
