Due to the border closures last week a lot of hauliers stopped their economy services to and from the UK due to backlogs. You could only send on express as that takes the air route.

As someone who works in international freight I think it only sensible to have a small supply. Any delays on the borders and fresh produce will quickly run out.
I certainly hope it won't come to that but seeing it from a freight perspective its easy to see a worst case scenario panning out.
