Mines also much improved yesterday and today so far.

Cheers - would that be at the CityFibre end or ISP specific? Be disappointed if I've signed up for a 12 month contract to essentially get the same issue we had with Virgin, albeit a lesser extreme.

Good shout, will give it a try direct into the ONT today. Agreed re: the router - the replacement TP-Link unit arrived yesterday so I'll probably set it up anyway. Never had any issues with Giganet previously, BQM was flat as a pancake - shame their support was so poor.

Been having similar issues during peak times for the last week, though my BQM doesn't look quite as bad as yours. My Broadband Ping no one are sending a replacement router and asked me to some MTR tests.

Had Giganet installed yesterday - can't fault the City Fibre guys, all done within an hour and a tidy install. BQM Doesn't seem to work but guessing this is a CGNAT or Eero issue - going to enquire about a static IP and consider a third party router... probably should've just gone with no-one...

Due to have Giganet installed tomorrow, based on the thread I'm starting to think I should've gone with no-one! Is it unusual that I haven't heard from the engineers yet? I was half expecting a call/ survey as the fibre is UG, so assume they'll need to dig from the junction box on the pavement...

Google Pixel 7/7 Pro & Pixel Watch

Anyone elses P7P battery gone down the drain? I know they degrade but mines been shocking since March/ April time - not gaming or anything intensive either; just the odd podcast/ some music at work and occasional social media useage. All play/ security services are up to date too

Those on Giganet, did you stick with the supplied eero router or use your own? Thinking of signing up to a short-term monthly contract with them and wondering how the eero performs...

    Google Pixel 6/6 Pro

Anyone got a 6a? Thinking of going with the deal the popular high street chain are running with the extra cashback & free nest hub etc. Would work out around £200 after trading in my 4a - not sure if it's worth it so close to the 7 announcement...

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

I'd say COD4 movement was a similar speed to MW19 (without tac-sprint) it has been a minute though... interested to see if they do remove slide cancelling and whether they keep tac-sprint if so.

    Post Scriptum

I haven't played much since last year - it's one of my favourite games when everything comes together, the sound design is unreal and the immersion with a good squad is fantastic. Unfortunately, the gap between updates is too long (which is understandable given the size of the dev team), but...

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Not massively impressed by the new map so far, too much verticality and the buildings/ layout just feel very slapped together and not well thought out. Hate the oversaturation too, game feels more and more like a cartoon since the CW/ VG integrations.

CF have been working in our area for around 18 months now, dug up our close a few times (plastic boxes installed on the footpath outside each property) and I can see on BIDB that the live services are getting closer - just wanted to ask a question about installs: Are you able to specify a...

Yeah, I checked the prices last night on our contract; going up to £149 P/M which is a big ask with no firm date for a "go live" on CF's services... Bingo - I might end up looking for a cheap-ish 5G SIM and use a spare router from work for now.

    Virgin Media Discussion Thread

It changes every few hours when I check the service status page, one minute all fine, the next there's an issue in the area and they're looking into it... Have posted on their community forums to try and push for a tech visit. Same here with the RCS Partial Service, Lost MDD Timeout & No...

That's a handy site - they've been in our area for 18 months now, dug up our close 3+ times and we've got the little box outside the house on the footpath but no idea when I'll be able to order. Our VM contract is up next month & I really don't want to renew for another 18 months.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Any ideas on how to stop this from happening when I start my game? Only seems to happen after I restart my PC - I'm not changing drivers or any hardware in-between. Driving me mad as it reinstalls the shaders every time too - tried DDU, different drivers etc. but no joy...
