Ok, been messing with this now for the past few days and had enough of it. Updated the drivers using the Cat 8.70 betas and now the diagonals have turned into almost rectangular banding across the screen when watching video. I've tried everything that I could find on the net, underclocking...

Nope, nothing. What is very strange is that it doesn't happen in games or when in Windows, just when playing video, doesn't matter if it's a DVD or an avi :(

My N95 8Gb had a dead pixel a couple of years ago, took it into Vodafone after doing an upgrade. To be honest they were fine and just swapped it with another in the store :)
