Maybe someone could give us a timeline on pre-orders and we wouldn't have to speculate.
For anyone waiting on a pre-order this is the response: "Unfortunately we currently have not been given a date from our supplier. As soon as we receive a date we will put it on the product page."
So i'm a bit out of the loop, still rocking an overclocked i5-2500k Sandy Bridge. It's done me well all these years but it's starting to show it's age along with the motherboard. I have a good case that a bought more recently and don't need a new GPU.
After a new motherboard and CPU... probably...
You can get it with Red switches but it's silver, not gunmetal: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CH-9000019-UK-Vengeance-Performance-Mechanical/dp/B00CJULV66
That said, i've been through 2 of those keyboards... the LEDs kept going. Had my last one since March 2014 and by the time I sent it back...
Ah, I see... well hopefully it's the same on the FK1. I've not seen anyone mention anything about the side buttons being a problem so should be good.
I use more of a claw grip. It was fine for the Deathadder but having used the Kinzu I find myself liking the shape more. So I think the FK1 is...
Yea my main concern with the FK1 is whether or not it will be too small but from using the Kinzu which seems to be the smallest Steelseries mouse, i'm thinking it should be OK.
I use a claw grip and have gotten used to the Kinzu this last week, it has put me off the Deathadder shape so maybe...
So I have had a Deathadder for years but it broke recently and sent it away to Razor for a replacement. In the meantime I was using an old Steelseries Kinzu that I borrowed from a friend.
The Kinzu is way too small for my hands (I have large hands) but I just got my new Deathadder the other...
Anyone use these mouse mats? I was looking at the extended one: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GS-008-CS
I have a SteelSeries QcK one at the moment that I l like but it's got a lot of wear so looking to replace it. Can't find much information on the Cosair Mouse Mats...
Well I guess that rules out the IPS monitor. As much as would love one for the picture, when playing BF4 I would probably get frustrated with it. Since my current monitor is a bit dated, at least i'll never know what i'm missing with the picture on the IPS monitor. :)
I seem to have landed on...
I've spent all day looking into this and I still can't decide what's best. I mostly play games like Battlefield but I also use my computer for a lot of other things that aren't gaming.
It seems like a 120/144hz monitor is better for FPS gaming and was considering one... Amazon had the VG278HE...

Is that the one? It's out of stock unfortunately... think that's the only one, so will have to purchase it elsewhere!
This fan controller just arrived from Overclockers today but i'd overlooked the fact that all the fans in my Antec 902 case are molex fans. The fan controller uses 3pin/4pin connecters... is there a converter or something I can buy for each of the fans?
I'm looking into buying this fan controller: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BB-002-NX
...for my Antec 902 v2 case. The rear fans can be a bit tedious to change. I don't know too much about this kind of stuff though, so am just wondering will this fan controller work with...
I do like MSI stuff, will have to shop around and do a bit more research before buying but will be one of the two.
It's overclocked to 4.2 at the moment, pretty safe as i've never really needed anything more. I guess if the new card doesn't do enough can up things with the cpu.
Thanks...
OK... I think it's definitely the card. It sits at around 85% usage when i'm just killing mobs... not too much going on, on the screen. Couldn't get the chance to test it when things get messy but I imagine it's hitting 100% when there's a lot happening on the screen.
After some thinking, I...
Thanks for the response. I'll have to take the day to think about and decide whether to go for the 7950 now or save for a bit and get the 670! :)
For £208 that does sound tempting and I could buy it now!
