So I'm having an x570 and 3700x delivered today and I'm still using windows 7 which is not officially supported...
I've read USB 3 does not work with this config but you can slipstream some drivers into your windows .iso when installing to get it working. What I cannot find is how to get those...
I can't see anything about dual bios on either "Aorus pro" listings. I do find it for the non wifi version on the Gigabyte website which is £260 on OCUK. The other version on here is the "I Aorus pro wifi" which is £227 and doesn't have dual bios according to the Gigabyte website.
I'm having trouble finding a list of boards with dual bios, I see some have bios flashback which Ithink isn't the same thing?
I'm interested in this feature as there seems to be lots of updates for this new gen and I don't want to brick a new board when i get it.
All the reasons people are pointing out not to have one is exactly why I asked how to find out if there is spyware on the phone. If I took the offer and found I was being snooped on I would hand it back, it's not mandatory.
I'm contactable anytime now anyway which I don't mind as due to nature...
Been offered a company phone, believe it will be an i5 or i6. I'm guessing it will be locked down and have spyware on it. What I want to know is how I can find out what's being recorded/sent and if there's any way to block it. Would a factory reset work?
You mean that level of service where they don't bother replying to your emails and you have to go on a forum to ask a rep to do something about it instead of them just responding through their official channels? I'd wager most buyers of the brand don't know about a rep on here so are stuck...
How are the Mirra 2's and Aerons on the arse cheeks/back of thighs?
I have moven entirely over to couch gaming as every chair hurts after a couple of hours. I end up putting a thick cushion on the seat to help but I will still get pain after a few hours. I'm 6ft and on the lighter side and don't...
Depends on how high you have your OLED light set at. 100% backlight and yeah you will get retention easily on bright logos like the deep red on Stranger Things. If you watch in a darkish room then whack that setting down, I think mine is on 65.
I would appreciate it you did! As per the thread I made here yesterday I was looking at getting a 2070s and using it with my 2500k while I waited for next gen ryzen. I know it's faffing around but would you mind putting it in so I could get an idea of how much the 2500k would bottleneck?
Looking...
Nice find. I would like to see it against newest Ryzen and morew games as you say but it's interesting it equates to roughly same performance as Ryzen1. I suppose I should OC the 2500k more anyway so it lasts longer when I pass it on to relative.
I believe he's using a core 2 quad in that video which is quite a step down from sandy bridge so not a great comparison.
I didn't really want to splash out heavily on stop-gap components (a new cpu cooler maybe). The graphics card would be transfered into a new machine when I got it and the old...
Running stock cooler at the moment so would need to buy something beefier, which I'm not opposed to. I would get a 5700xt but the noise puts me off, everything I've looked at tells me the nvidia cards are 10-15 dBA quieter which is quite a chunk. I would be willing to pay the £100 difference...
So I've got a ryzen 3700x build planned out but I'm wondering if I can get by another year or two and hold out for Ryzen 4000 series.
Specs right now are
2500k (oc'ed to 4ghz)
8gb ram
radeon 390 8gb
I game on my living room tv so 1080p @ 120hz. It can do 4k @ 60hz but I would need a 2080ti...
Was you watching on pc or tv? What connection do you have? Bloody hope it's not like this for the champions league final, I'm having mates round to watch it.
The parquet is the original from 1965 when the house was built, it's already damaged. It's stuck down with a bitumen backing which doesn't last forever...Parts of it are lifting and there's gaps between the blocks, I know these can be filled with sawdust then varnished but it doesn't look the...
