If you want to moan about it that's your choice. It is still clearly part of the main storyline and not a sidequest they threw together so your opinion on that is moot. Maybe some resources were spent tweaking it but I very much doubt they put together something like that from scratch just to...
The whole mission is about investigating the corruption on the tapes as a lead to the bombing. How exactly is that a side mission? It's directly related to the main quest.
Sorry but circlejerk still very much applies here. First glance I thought it had been taken out but it really doesn't seem...
Putting aside the circle jerk for a moment...
I don't think Desperate Measures was cut from the game for DLC because its story doesn't really add anything to the game. Sure you can say it fits in at a certain point but the outcome of the mission doesn't really progress the story. It is FAR...
Yeah things just end up on the floor. Its the same when you get rewarded Software from hacks, if you have no space it just drops on the ground in front of the device.
I was aware there was the potential to do something wrong on the final mission which results in an alarm but I hadn't heard anything about that one.
In hindsight yeah, more save files would've been smart but still, such a dick move. Especially to then wait until I pass a second autosave point...
Just had my Foxiest of the Hounds playthrough ruined right near the end because I didn't know in advance not to contact Miller instead of Vega and the game then conveniently waits till you go through 2 Autosave points before triggering an unavoidable ****ing alarm. Stupid **** like that really...
Went to look for that out of curiosity, youtube video at 43:20. Skips the first mission entirely by lobbing a gas grenade which makes the guy inside HQ open up.
I lol'd when he ran straight towards the guy patrolling near the docks, then just lobs his stealth pistol on the floor to distract...
I'd say that's a little wanting your cake and eating it.
You aren't likely to see extraordinarily detailed hubs and mission environments with lots of content in them and also get a lot of them. Sure a few more missions would've been nice (isn't it always?) but if you aren't exploring or doing...
They got negative feedback from the day one tiered dlc they were planning but the micro transactions? That's just people being morons and not even understanding what they're complaining about. Fairly sure people are just jumping on the bandwagon.
I didn't use any Praxis Kits from the storage...
Still pretty silent. Its funny when you smack the guy in the face or something and they let out a rather loud moan but nobody hears it.
And its no different to HR, you just need to use biocells to resupply energy for them.
Oh, I'll have to look through them again.
Luck had nothing to do with it unfortunately, it was just plain bad :o
Totally missed the headshot I didn't even need to take cos he didn't know where I was.
On the bright side, decided to play through the Desperate Measures extra story thing on I...
Awww man that went so wrong. My trip into the Palisade garage went a little wrong and got spotted by the guard outside the control room. Hid inside, missed his head with the stun gun and he shot out a panel behind me which electrocuted me to death before I realised I was dying.
Permadeath Mode...
I know what you mean, was so irritating with the log updating after every takedown so if you want to drag the body away it opens the damn mission log!
A few people have mentioned the whole 'pressing space = ingame action' thing. Its seriously annoying. Makes you have to be careful about...
Even 2 minutes is optimistic!
I don't remember if I went for medium or hard now on my first playthrough but he died in anywhere from 30 seconds to surviving a couple minutes. His and the enemy AI do not play well with that fire fight. I was savescumming to keep him alive and in 1 attempt and...
Probably but the whole point of the mode is the risk of dying and losing everything.
Major 'oh ****!' moment when I was trying to clear out some of the enemies outside the signal booster room and I accidentally got spotted. Waited for them to close in and ran past them with silent steps +...
I think it's just additional content. Like the one I found in the Palisade Bank was a 5 minute audio file where the devs talked about the development of the Bank, was quite interesting actually.
