    Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

Just managed to get my 32" setup and I'm impressed! My last monitor was the AW 38 ultra-wide so I was worried I would miss the aspect ratio but this thing feels spot on. Colours look amazing, not had chance to play around with it much yet but out of the box looks awesome. I did have a few marks...

I ordered the 5th and spoke to Dell customer care this morning - they emailed to say my monitor is awaiting production and that production is currently on hold due to a parts shortage. Not sure if this is just a standard reply or if they are actually waiting on parts

Is that the gainward 4080s panther or the phoenix that are due next week?

    Aienware 32" 4k and 27" 360hz

Blue light wouldn’t work for me, I’ve ordered and will contact them tomorrow to see if they will refund the difference in price for the discount. I've got estimated 28/02 for the 32" - assuming that will change over the next few days though

    Aienware 32" 4k and 27" 360hz

I couldn't get blue light discount to work, figured it would sell out so ordered it and I'll drop them an email to see if they'll retrospectively refund the discount

    Aienware 32" 4k and 27" 360hz

I think the asus 32 4k" will be releasing in the next few months which uses the same panel but is flat - probably be more expensive though

    Aienware 32" 4k and 27" 360hz

Suppose it depends on your gpu, if it's competitive shooters I would think you'll want high fps so the 27" may be a better option. I'm more rpg single player games and can't wait to see if 4k is worth the hype

    Aienware 32" 4k and 27" 360hz

Thanks for that! I thought it was going to be tomorrow - managed to get an order in for the 32", cheaper than I expected too! Says expected by end of Feb.

    Aienware 32" 4k and 27" 360hz

Hopefully the new alienware monitors will be getting their UK release this week - anyone planning to order on release day? I'm without a monitor having previously had the AW 38" and my brother has the 34" Oled so will be ordering the 32" 4k - hoping the issues people are having will be fixed...

    7900xt for £750 or wait?

I did see the thread about the zotac 4090, looks like he has resolved it now and got a replacement 4090. Seems like the issues was with the store he purchased it from rather than zotac. I would usually go sapphire or powercolor for amd, they're the best but usually the priciest, seems strange...

    7900xt for £750 or wait?

My build has a 5900x so I should be good with that for a few years without any bottleneck. I haven't gamed for almost 2 years so have a decent backlog of games to play. I generally play open world rpg so that's why I'm leaning towards 4k over frame rates, sure 4k120 would be amazing but I don't...

    7900xt for £750 or wait?

The 4070 ti super is more like £800-850 which is what puts me off. I think I'll see if I can snag one of the 4080 super at msrp, even if it's basically the same as the 4080 I think for £940 worth the extra Actually rival sites have some closer to £750, worth considering at that price compared...

    7900xt for £750 or wait?

The main thing holding me back on a 7900xtx is that so far dlss is apparently better than fsr so if 4080 super ends up around the same price as the 7900xtx then surely the 4080 super is a better option? Out of interest how are you finding the switch to a 4k monitor vs 1440?

    7900xt for £750 or wait?

Thanks for the replies. I'll be getting the monitor next month so I can wait until then but I want to buy them around the same time so I have time for an easy return if I'm unhappy. I have debated the whole 1440 ultrawide vs 4k as previously had the alienware 38" and loved it but I think if I...

    7900xt for £750 or wait?

Hi all, I have been out of the country for a few years so sold my GPU and monitor when I left but kept the rest of my PC. I will likely be getting the new Alienware 32" 4k monitor when it releases so just after a GPU to go with it, plan is to probably skip the next gen of GPU releases so need...
