How is the 5ghz signal, would be turning the 2.4 off anyway as using the unifi ap but the 5ghz I'd use solely for the quest 3 connection

The flint 2 does look just as good as the Asus and a much better price especially if you buy it direct. Not sure where I got the 500gb ram from then so that makes it even better. Are there any concerns over GL-inet being a Chinese vendor?

Looking for a new router as the Vodafone issued one is garbage and has a habit of freezing. Currently have 500Mbps connection, a uniform AC pro for wifi and connect a honor 3 wifi6 router just to connect the quest 3 to the pc. I previously had a usg gateway but didn't like the parental controls...

I've got the same card and it's starting to struggle on the vr front. Looks like there should be some new cards out later this year, if you can hold off then should be some good cards coming from AMD for a good price, something that can keep up with a 4080 for £500ish

You wait till you try wireless on v28 then, you can manually update if you can't wait and it's very easy to do

Also have it, although I can't get audio working but that be due to HTC headphones and seems to suffer a big stutter on both the GPU and CPU at the same time every so often although it's maxing out at 90fps. I found the vd beta release better with no stutter and reduced lag also hitting 100+ FPS

I'm glad someone else wasn't overly impressed with the index controllersid even go as far as being uncomfortable, yes tracking is excellent but the quest isn't that far behind it and the setup is so much easier on the quest. Have you tried the beta vs, seems to be able to push higher fps with lower latency, is now buttery smooth on 120hz setting although I'm only getting around 100 most of the time and a latency of about 35 - even more visually stunning in half life Alyx

HTC das, tried both of the Chinese ones before hand and it so much better, turns it into a high-quality feeling headset.

Manually flashed v28 to the headset, while airline hasn't been turned on yet the clarity update and 120hz is night and day difference. Can't wait to try the airlink

Frankenquest mod will fix most of the issues you had with it and will more than likely follow you to the next few iterations of the quest. G2 tracking is bad and not in the same league as the quest or the rift s, wmr tracking is bad!
