Look its simple, the Quran forbids any pictures of any of our prophets end of story

. No ifs, ands or buts about it, thats the way it is...main reason for that is that we do not allow idolisation of any of our prophets. So pictures, statues etc are strictly forbidden and that includes Jesus, who was a prophet in islam as well.

Thats all im going to say on the subject other than i dont agree with what Wiki is doing...in the end its just agitating more muslims therefore causing more resentment towards the Western world...

Why should illustration = idolisation?

I'd be genuinely interested to know why it's the case.
