just a thought but maybe someone on the forum could write a sticky which outlines the rights we have as photographers and the false things that people have come up against..

Wouldn't be a bad idea, actually. The photography sticky needs updating anyway. I might e-mail Scuzi about it this weekend.

I thought I would try and find some definitive web based legal advice relating to street togging that I could carry for my own protection from the long arm of the law.

I've found a link to a PDF that I will learn and carry in my camera bag.

thanks for bringing this to my attention, I got stopped in LA for taking photos by a security guard (I know it's a different country but still not the point). Will write a letter to my mp and see if he will sign it.
