Meh this sucks, I've copied my profiles and put them onto desktop. Deleted the profiles in the CoD 4 directory and started CoD 4, made a new profile and it still crashes when i go to MP.
Im confused
Mine does the same.. I removed my profiles, uninstalled, ran CCleaner, rebooted, reinstalled and patched. MP still won't run.. Thats the third reinstall and it just refuses to run.
K guys i got a server running hardcore at the moment and im wanting to turn it into a pam4 server but im totally lost.
If anyones got any spare time on there hand sometime this week then add me to xfire and ill give you access to vent to make it easier.

Found a fix, works for me
All I did was enable Stereo Mix and it works now
Also I found Stereo Mix in recording devices, not playback.Copy/Pasted my old profile and it works too, can run MP with my old MP data.

Played this a bit for the first time in 6 weeks ( had utms= sucks for gaming) and damn, what a bunch of *****.
Every time some noob whines about ''me cheating'' or about some beginner using a GL and trying to kick him like 10 times in a round, or whining about Martydom or something else.
Cant I disable chat and votes so I can't see em, tired of all those noobs wasting time on trolling and whining rather than gaming ?
What on earth is this I thought all kiddies were playing on their 1337 X360 or Ps3 ? Why does this game run on 7300's and other lame gfx cards, ban all the stupid kids

cos we already have far more maps than they will ever get.
Is this still correct? Any other servers like the above? I've only been playing for 1.5 days and already getting sick of public.

as for zombie servers theres quite a few one of our old members made the zombie mod on most servers, november dobby.
