Asylum Seekers not PC

****ing sanctuary seekers, soaking up free money, NHS treatment, and clogging up our prisons.

I'll have "sanctuary" banned by next Wednesday.

That has a totally different meaning to an 'asylum seeker'. I was an immigrant in Germany for 5 years, it doesn't mean I was seeking asylum or sanctuary though.

I'd be rather dubious about the benefits of changing the name but from a government department/quango point of view just think of all the time that can be spent with rebranding, how delightful.

A major problem with name changes such as this is that few people outwith those who have to will adopt the new moniker, if it doesn't generally impinge on your conciousness then there is little incentive for you to change.

If the name does change however I'm going to have this great mental image of a whole load of Iron Maiden fans coming to the UK.
