The Man.U. and Arsenal fans are all lovey dovey with each other at the moment, can't wait 'til 9.30ish when they start throwing ***** at each other, that's much more fun.
Liverpool fans will be banned from this thread for tonight too.

:p

I just think he's a very average midfielder, well no he's better then average, but he's no Gerrard, Scholes, Xavi, Inesta, ect ect I think he's over rated.

He has good feet, and can hit a ball straight in a hard line, but most of his goals were more to do with "right place right time" i,e playing for a very good Chelski side in midfield with some really great players, he just takes advantage of the space they make for him.

Gerrard is miles better as an attacking midfielder ( a position they both play )
Lampard wouldn't get near a world starting 11 in my opinion.

He's a good player nothing more.
:p

/RANT :D

:( We obviously watch totally different football week in week out, i cant understand how you can call someone average when they score this amount of goals for the last 6 years.

Dont give us the "its not about goals" tripe, i know that but to say he's average is just comical! He's about the most complete box to box midfielder in the world.

Cant understand how people are comparing him to Kaka aswell, totally different type of player. It really disheartens me that he doesnt get the credit from the neutrals like he should, theres a lot of Fat Frank bashing and he's the most model professional in the modern game atm!

Lol thats pretty laughable really being that Gomes did get the ball :D.
Yes I do believe that is the joke he was making.

what's BOLLL mean btw? I've seen it used a few times.
Burst Out Laughing I believe, with the extra Ls for pointlessness/effect/annoyance. Quite why that's needed over Laugh Out Loud*, I'm not sure.

*HINT: The loudness implies things were quiet before.

He happens to play in a very good side, he's a good player nothing more.
Lots of players score lots of goals.
I've not said Lampard doesn't score, I've not said he doesn't get assists, but he's in my opinion a good player nothing more. I don't get all the ranting about him from Sky / Chelsea fans.

Kaka is an attacking midfielder, Lampard is, Gerrard is, Fabergas is, Scholes is... ect ect, Lampard isn't as good as kaka, Gerrard, Fabergas, Arshavin... would you have him in your "world best 11"

I wouldn't.
"best box to box" so he's not an attacking midfielder ? he's an all rounder ?
So he's better then Essien ? Gattuso ? Pirlo ? Fabergas ? ect ect

model professional ?
No. Look at someone like Scholes for model professional, Lampard was on the radio the other day argueing !

On another, more topic-related note:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8010847.stm

Man Utd (from): Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, O'Shea, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Rafael, Ronaldo, Nani, Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Berbatov, Rooney, Tevez.

Arsenal (from): Almunia, Sagna, Toure, Silvestre (maybe), Gibbs (maybe), Nasri, Song, Denilson, Fabregas, Walcott, Adebayor, Fabianski, Djourou, Eduardo, Bendtner, Diaby, Vela, Ramsey, Eboue.

I now believe Wenger's surprise tactic will involve sending Carlos Vela into the United dressing room to sneeze on all their towels.
