Basically I have ran Malwarebytes and NOD32 in safe and normal mode in Win7 but they find nothing the problem is that NOD32 still tells me it's preventing some malicous programs from doing things and I get random popups which I know is this Malware. Anyone got any advice? Thanks

Download CCleaner. Then in the Tools section click on Startup. Disable any items that starts an .exe you do not recognise or don't remember installing. If unsure about an item look up the .exe name on Google.

Reboot. If NOD32 stops complaining you can go ahead and delete the entry you disabled. You should also find the file it linked to and delete that.

You could also try Spybot Search and Destroy [in fact I would try this first as it may find what the others didn't].

Personally I'd format C:\ and reinstall. Not because I don't know how to deal with this stuff, but because imho in this day of online credit card accounting, online banking and so on I just wouldn't trust a compromised PC regardless of how "fixed" it was...

But if you insist on persevering, I recommend you follow Sirius' advice and also try SuperAntiSpyware, which is both excellent and free. :)

This :). In the time it takes to 'fix' your computer you could have reformatted it and had a fresh, clean 100% kosher operating system. The constant worry that something may still be lurking.

Generally a nukerage is easier, but it would take just a few minutes to try Spybot and to check for suspicious startup entries first.

I absolutely agree tbh I haven't been doing anything like online banking since I got it as I can get it for free as I'm a student that might well be an option.

Oh yeh I would like to keep all my music and some other files will I just be able to scan this with NOD32 to make sure that none of it is infected? Or is there still the chance of something?
