Well, done a few laps tonight, there is lots of time to be found in Sector 3, this is just about the only lap I completed without spinning off, still trying to get my setup to how I want it. Without a doubt one of us will be well into the 33's, 32's probably with enough practice. My thumbs are now covered in blisters though, from the Brazil 90 lap stint and tonight, so I'm giving it a rest for tonight.

The fastest time on the leaderboard, after the California muppet (Why are his times still there by the way, you would think somebody at Codies would just wipe them), is a 1:32.7xx, so that's the target :)

By the way Sparc, what mod is that? Looks fantastic.

I know i can shave over a second off in Sector 3, so i guess ill keep trying so you may see a better time from me yet.

There was a fair few, the people who done the dodgy times (CaliforniaGay mainly) will simply just post new times, unless they have been banned, doubt it though.

Anyway, I knocked a clean second off of my time, plenty of time to find though, made a mess of the left hander after the 2nd back straight, which means you're slower through the next 3 corners, probably lost about half a second.

Thanks, when I exited the TT mode I had trouble connecting to the server in-game (Rendes-vouz server or something), tried a couple of times and just quit. I'm guessing it's something to do with Steam still getting hammered from BO. I think that time is do-able, just need to spend a bit of time on it :). I lost about half a second with that 1 mistake, I've went faster in sector 1 a few times by a couple of tenths and there is plenty of time to find in the windy sector 3, so I should be into the 32's.

One thing about this track, the invalid lap detection thingy is all over the place, in some places you can get away with blatantly cutting with all 4 wheels off the track, and in other places you get an invalid lap even when 2 tyres are still within the white lines. Same for everyone though.

Yeah that has made me spin a few times, what I do is go down to 1st for the first left, click into 2nd and coast over that kerb with no power on, then accelerate as soon as i'm over it.

Btw, you might enjoy this. Certainly gave me some clues, not that you need any :)

Brilliant, hadn't watched that, it's good to watch, my gears for corners and line are very close to that :). One thing from comparing laps, LH can brake at 100 metre boards for a few of the corners, but i'm braking at 150 in game. Have noticed this on a few tracks so far. Not a big issue though.

The lap after i set that time i was 4 tenths up by middle split forgot to put the df back to high coming into the final sector, i gain another tenth after i put the df back to high but screwed up on the double left hander after the bridge.

Found a nice little trick with my setup to get an awesome exit out off the hairpin

EDIT: Found out that for some reason the game enabled TC so had to set another time without it, took long enough but i'll settle for it, anyone know how long it takes for the time to appear on the leaderboard?

Been lapping this track for a wee while tonight but I just cant beat my ghost at all. :( plus my right xbox trigger feels slightly lighter, either that or my finger is getting stronger :p
