For an older film I'd say Blade Runner. Restored to it's former glory & given HD sound too.

"The Punisher: War Zone" features an excellent sound stage with really punchy gunfire. Great stuff if it holds up.

"The Dark Knight" is a must. Multiple action scenes, and the one with the big-wheeler crash and the Bat Bike is tremendous.

"Zombieland" is surprisingly challenging too.

All the Pixar films (esp the newer ones). Avatar. Dark Knight. Transformers. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is pretty good too since it's 25mins longer than the DVD version and is pretty much a Blu Ray CGI-gasm.

I thought Sunshine was great too.

oh might have to get myself a copy. i'd agree with the selections too
